What is the benefit of keeping my site updated?
We recommend to keep your site always fresh and up to date, this is good for SEO (when you make frequent changes, your site might get crawled more often, helping to get more traffic), it helps to get returning users and if you have a WordPress site, keeping plugins, themes and core updated is important to avoid functionality issues and malicious attacks.
How the subscription works?
Once you choose a plan, your subscription will be automatically renewed every month until you cancel.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel at any time, you will be able to use your available hours for the current cycle, but your subscription will not be renewed. To cancel your subscription, go to your dashboard and click on the link (cancel subscription). If you don’t have a dashboard, fill out this form to cancel your plan.
What if I need more hours?
Start with a maintenance plan that fits your needs, you can also upgrade your plan at any time. We will let you know if your request will take more time to complete. If for some reason, there is one month were you will need extra hours, you could also purchase individual hours (up to 3 extra hours), if you feel you will need a lot more than that, then we recommend upgrading your plan, you can always downgrade back once you don’t need that many hours.
What if I use less hours?
Pick a maintenance plan that best fits your needs, you can change your plan to less hours at any time or cancel your subscription. Hours not used in one cycle won’t carry over to the next.
Do you offer refunds?
Absolutely. If you started a subscription or a one time payment service and you are not able to use our services we will refund 100%. If you have already used our services and would like a refund, you will get a partial refund (total payment minus the hours used).
Can I use your maintenance service only one time?
Yes, you can either sign up for a subscription and let us know this is only for one month, we will not renew your subscription if that is the case or you can choose one time payment for the available options.
Do you offer web design services?
At this moment we don’t offer full design services, minor design changes on your site are ok, these changes can include things like colors, fonts, backgrounds, layout changes… You will need to specify the changes you want.
Do you offer development services?
We don’t offer development services at this moment. If you need help with functionality issues on your site or need to add new functionality, we can provide advice, in some cases we might be also able to help.
How can I choose the right maintenance plan for my website?
If you need minor content changes, few new posts or pages and once a month WordPress updates for small site, 5 hours/month should be good enough, if you have an e-commerce website with new products constantly added or a medium to large site, more hours might be needed. If you are not sure of the amount of hours you need, just email us and we will review your site and based on your monthly needs we can advise on an specific maintenance plan.
If you need WordPress updates, you’ll need more hours if your site is medium to large, the reason is because we need to verify your site had no issues after the updates and the more pages and more functionality the more time we need to review everything.
What is the process of WordPress updates?
If you have a staging (duplicated version of your production site), we will start there, we suggest to always use a staging environment. Before any updates are done, we’ll backup your files and database (or we might ask you to get a database backup from your host provider) and then we proceed with the updates.
Once the updates are completed, we review your site to make sure there is no issues, we might also ask you to help us in this process since you are more familiar with your site and we just want to make sure we don’t miss anything. If there is an issue, we will try to fix it or we will revert the update that is causing the issue back.
